CSC Services Welcomes Project Support Manager

New Project Support Manager Robbie has joined CSC Services to coordinate client project delivery across a range of sectors

Originally having started as an operative with CSC when he was just 17 years old, Robbie has returned to a more senior role, where he will support project delivery across the full life cycle – from quote to final handover. This includes initial scoping and specifying of projects, as well as planning for labour, safety processes and equipment requirements. Robbie’s role is also instrumental during the project delivery phase, where he will manage the day-to-day running of the various teams, allocating supervisory & operative responsibilities and delivering pre-project training where required.

“I really enjoy the client relationship aspect of the role, from being their primary point of contact from the first meeting until the project is completed. I think that consistency is key not only to the quality of the project but also for the reassurance it brings the client.”

Robbie has experience across all sectors of the business, including water, power and MOD and particularly relishes the people-management aspect of his role.

“I’m passionate about what I do and it gives me a great sense of satisfaction when everything is delivered successfully. I enjoy the autonomy and responsibility that comes with project management and it suits my organisational mindset. I’m always looking at how we can be more efficient and involving the team in continuous improvement. Every Friday we have a team meeting where we share ideas and best practice. It’s a good way of connecting the team, as well as identifying areas for staff development. If we are constantly refining ourselves and our processes, then the overall output is better and everyone benefits.”
