Recent remediation work undertaken at Hinkley Point B Power Station for client EDF Energy has been covered in ‘Concrete’, the prestigious magazine of The Concrete Society.
The report, by CSC Services’ Managing Director Mark Lemon outlines the programme of work which saw over 300 significant concrete repairs completed over a seven-month period at the station in 2018. The work, which included a Sika Spray applied system, followed on from a programme of repairs in 2017 in which over ten tonne of specialist repair mortars and structural strengthening products were used across the plant.
