As 2017 comes to a close, CSC Services would like to thank all clients both old and new for their continued support.
We began 2017 with news from the latest market reports indicating increased levels of demand and significant market growth for protective coatings. With over one hundred job enquiries received over the year, it seems there may have been some truth in this forecast.
Once again CSC Services have completed work for client EDF Energy across several of its UK power stations. Over ten tonne of specialist repair mortars and structural strengthening products have been used to rectify the degradation of reinforced concrete at various areas across Hinkley B Power Station. Carbon Fibre Wrapping was used as part of the programme as were a range of protective coatings.
A long running contract at Lynemouth Power Station for Sir Robert McAlpine saw CSC Services expand its power sector portfolio. A Flexcrete cementitious coating system was sprayed on to steelwork to provide enhanced chemical and abrasion resistance.
For the water sector, CSC Services have refurbished a range of assets including wet wells, filter tanks and service reservoirs. Some of our new clients include Anglian Water and United Utilities.
For the first time this year we have been writing a range of blogs and advice articles. Thank you to all of those who took the time to read, comment and engage. It has been great to see a number of articles published across the trade press, and we look forward to continuing with this next year.
CSC Services were thrilled to receive the official sign of approval from Sika Liquid Plastics, and we are now a Quality Approved Contractor. Thanks to Sika Liquid Plastics and all of the product manufacturers that we work with on a daily basis. Your specialist support and advice has ensured we can continue to offer the best solutions to clients.
To complete the line-up CSC Services close the year with top marks in our annual Achilles UVBD Audit. A great achievement which recognises the high standards that we work to and our desire to continually improve!
All that remains to be said is Merry Christmas and here’s to another great year in 2018!
