Failed epoxy coatings were removed from the bund walls, floors, walkways, staircases and handrails.
Deep cleaning of pipework, plant and equipment was undertaken using High Pressure Water Jetting and steam cleaning.
A Sikalastic 625 System incorporating glass reinforced fibre matting and an anti-slip finish was installed.

With a 10-year guarantee from Sika Liquid Plastics, the waterproof coating system will outlast the life expectancy of the Ferrous Sulphate Plant at Hartlepool Station.
