We provide cleaning and preparation solutions via our shot blasting/dustless blasting services before coatings are applied. This is an essential requirement to ensure the surface is prepared to optimise the bonding of the coating layers and support an improving structural life span. Our products are also DWI-approved for use in potable water.
Our products include Epoxy Coatings, Polyurethane and Polyurea coatings. Choosing the correct coating for any particular pipework will be determined by the requirement or level of resistance to certain chemicals, fuels, effluent or other product/materials needed.
When applying coatings to internal pipes this requires the application of an anti-corrosion or flow-efficiency coating that is essential when transferring potable water, sewage or oil. These coating systems are efficient and provide a safe operating environment.
We have coating solutions to treat external pipes and all of our coatings are corrosion-resistant. These coating systems are reliable and guarantee protection to industrial pipes.
We can now blast and paint pipework up to 3m wide at our specialist unit in the North East. Offsite work is useful when the pipework to be prepared and cleaned for coating through a process such as shot blasting is situated in a sensitive area that requires day-to-day operations.
Our teams all have CSCS cards, EUSR Water cards, DOMS, Confined Space Certificates and are BSVR (Baseline Security Vetting Register) and CTC (counter terrorism check) vetted as a minimum. All operatives hold SSPC Train the Painter – Gold level accreditation which covers protective coating application, spray painting and abrasive blast cleaning.
