Protecting substrates from chemical attacks
We have access to a variety of different paints or coating materials and can also apply a variety of products or paints specified on contracts by others.
We use specialist mortars and tools to provide a protective coating to surfaces, this is applied to protect the substrate from chemical attack. The paint also gives the surface an aesthetic appeal. At CSC we use leading industry products including Sika and VIP Germany products.
As experienced contractors of industrial painting services, we always begin our service with correct surface preparation, using our knowledge and experience in industrial shot blasting, grit blasting and high pressure water jetting.
We provide specialist coatings, including epoxy resin coatings and flooring. Our expert team have a wealth of knowledge and can help you make the right choice and to ensure your colour scheme is met.
Our coating services cause little disruption to ongoing operations, we have applied industrial painting services to the following structures:
Structures, pipes or equipment of up to 3m wide can be forklifted in and out of CSC Services’ specialist unit in the North East. This is a useful option when the structure to be painted is situated in a sensitive area. By taking structures offsite for refurbishment work, day to day operations can continue.
Our teams all have CSCS cards, EUSR Water cards, DOMS, Confined Space Certificates and are BSVR (Baseline Security Vetting Register) and CTC (counter terrorism check) vetted as a minimum. All operatives hold SSPC Train the Painter – Gold level accreditation which covers protective coating application, spray painting and abrasive blast cleaning.
We completed a job for client EDF Energy to repair and coat their Ferrous Sulphate Tank Lids. The tank lids were transported from Hartlepool Power Station to the CSC Services work unit for the refurbishment work as part of a plant upgrade. You can read more about this industrial painting contract here.
