CSC Services will be showcasing some of the latest waterproofing technology pioneered for use in sensitive areas such as hospitals, schools and food manufacturing plants at a Healthcare Conference next week.

Decothane Ultra is Sika Liquid Plastics’ roofing membrane that achieves a scientifically proven lower odour.

As a Sika trained contractor CSC Services will present the range of features and benefits of the Decothane Ultra System to the audience responsible for the maintenance, operation and estate management across UK healthcare facilities.

Mark Lemon, Managing Director of CSC Services explains:

“The installation of a Decothane Ultra Roofing System can minimise disruption to service or hospital staff. It is very fast curing and becomes rapidly rain resistant. The fact it can be installed over existing roof coverings minimises the cost and upheaval associated with stripping old roofing, and prevents the threat of weather damage associated with other roofing systems. Decothane Ultra is cold applied. It requires no heat or naked flame during application, a must where safety is paramount. Liquid application allows for a seamless and attractive finish.

“Perhaps they main advantage is the support that Sika Liquid Plastics will provide during and after a contract. Full surveys and condition reports are produced in addition to thermographic surveys upon request. This can help clients to quantify savings in terms of energy usage. Once completed Sika will provide a 10-25 years guarantee (depending on products used). This single point guarantee will cover the entire roofing system giving full peace of mind for years to come.”

Sika Liquid Plastic Roofing Systems have been successfully applied to a range of NHS buildings including Preston Royal Infirmary, Newcastle Freeman Hospital and Scarborough Hospital.

CSC Services can also offer other refurbishment services including concrete repair, cathodic protection, water tank repair and protective coating work, meaning a range of work can be carried out onsite at once. Work can be scheduled for weekends and evenings if necessary and is undertaken with speed, precision and minimum noise.
