Institute of Water Appointment

CSC Services’ Marketing Manager Lyndsey Gilmartin has joined the Institute of Water Northern Area Committee.

Exclusively supporting the careers of those working in the UK water sector, the Institute of Water is split into 8 geographical Areas. The Northern Area encompasses the operational areas of Northumbrian Water, Yorkshire Water and United Utilities and provides a full programme of conferences, seminars, technical and social events throughout the year.

Lyndsey will join the committee as a Communications Officer, providing support in communicating and engaging with members across the region. Members may remember Lyndsey, who was Marketing and Events Manager at the Institute of Water Head Office from 2006 – 2012, leading on the rebranding of the organisation from IWO; production of the quarterly Journal and organisation of the Annual Conference.

Speaking about the appointment Lyndsey said:

“I am looking forward to getting involved with the Institute once again. Having a good knowledge of the organisation and how it operates, I am hoping I can bring value to the committee as well as some fresh ideas.”

Welcoming Lyndsey to the committee, Paul Henderson, Chair of the Northern Area Committee said:

”We are pleased to have Lyndsey join the team. The knowledge of both the industry and Institute that she can bring to the committee will be really valuable moving forward. We look forward to working with her.”
