CSC Services joined Engineers and Operational Staff from Anglian Water last week for a day promoting innovation and TOTEX within the business, for the remaining and forthcoming AMP period.
The engineers were from Anglian Water’s Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) team which is a collaboration contract between Anglian Water, Morrison Utility Services, Barhale and Kier.
The interactive day included presentations, workshop exercises and networking opportunities.
Glen Laxton, Anglian Water’s Totex Asset Solution Manger began proceedings. He described the work that he and his team undertake on a daily basis as they look to save £60m in Totex efficiencies over this AMP period. Using real case study examples, attendees offered their innovative ideas as to how Totex solutions could be achieved in a lively workshop session.
There were presentations from the Anglian Water’s Innovation Team on some of the test work being undertaken across the New Market catchment area. Insights were given into some of the behavioural change campaigns running through the Shop Window scheme. Maxine Croft and Will Davies shared updates on some exciting new innovative projects within Morrison Utility Services.
Using case studies of work recently completed CSC Services explained how specification of specialist coatings can drive efficiencies, extend the life of assets and reduce costly shut down period. Managing Director Mark Lemon explains:
