Speed of completion was key as weather was inclement and the site was about to take delivery of expensive equipment that required protection. Work included:

• Identifying and marking up the location of the leaks before drilling at specified points above the joint in order to accommodate the injection packer
• The holes were then cleaned before injection packers were inserted
• The surface of the join was then sealed with banding where appropriate before the resin was applied and any holes cleaned and filled with waterstop plugs
• All work was inspected by the site manager on a daily basis
