Identified Issue

The main C1 Plant effluent trench had been subject to subsidence and heave, requiring a substantial amount of repair work by a specialist concrete repair contractor.

Planned Solution

Our team of engineers and project managers were commissioned to carry out a full assessment of the area to identify where repairs were necessary before creating and implementing a programme of concrete repair using our professional team.

The assessment produced a plan, costings and scope of staged activities to perform the remedial concrete improvements to the trench base and walls. The installation of over-banding membrane seals to the expansion joints was also recommended.
